- Ship Acquisition: This is sponsorship for the purchase of sailing and support craft to support SCAMP’s mission. Categories are:
- Armada: $30,000
- Toward the purchase of a SKUD-18 fully adaptive boat
- Fleet: $15,000
- Toward the purchase of a Flying Scot
- Squadron: $10,000
- Toward the purchase of an Access Dinghy 303
- Yacht: $5,000
- Toward the purchase of an Access Dinghy Breeze
- Recognition: Each class of ship sponsorship will have either the name of their company prominently displayed on the main sail, or if an individual/family sponsor the option to name and christen the vessel. Invite to participate in the annual SCAMP “Golden Anchor” Regatta where individuals or their organizations pair-up with a SCAMP participant in a full day of racing in our sailing craft.
- Event sponsorship: This is sponsorship for specific events where SCAMP participants will be competing or for charity events. The 3 upcoming events are:
- 2007 Merrimac Memorial Regatta, Portsmouth Va. City Park
- 2007 50th anniversary Flying Scot Nationals, Fishing Bay YC, Deltaville Va
- 1st annual SCAMP PD Race build-off Regatta, Portsmouth Va. City Park
- Recognition:
- All sponsors will be listed in SCAMP’s Annual Report
- Invite to SCAMP’s Annual Banquet and Silent Auction
- Invite to Christening of SCAMP boats
- Name affixed to SCAMP Honor Roll Plaque
- Admiral: $2500
- Captain: $1000
- Chief: $500
- Boatswain: $250
- Seaman: $25 up the to next higher level
- If the sponsor elects to donate for a specific event, their name will be placed on the sail or hull of the competing vessel(s) and will be mentioned in the events advertisement and or any articles submitted by the SCAMP staff.
